Unsure of any maker as no markings, the infills are overstuffed, the nice shaped brass lever cap has a pierced shield, the screw has nice details too. 13.3/8” long 3” wide, holds a 2.1/2” cutting iron stamped “MELHUISH & SON FETTER LANE HOLBORN” that is a good length and sharply honed. A good heavy plane that should anyone wish to refresh the woodwork could look much better.
