An early example of the Stanley No: 70 box scraper, Its unmarked which was typical of Stanley back in the day. These were produced from c1877 and were used to remove markings and labels from wooden crates ready to reuse. The scraper could be used on the push action or the reverse by pulling towards you. The cutter is stamped STANLEY with the SW logo and U.S.A, Plane is in super clean original condition.
