The black Japanese version of this model plane, non adjustable bullnose plane 1 1/8” width, full length Preston cutter, the cast iron body and the iron are both stamped with a number #3, the lever cap has a nice embossed EP trademark stamp, these planes dating from early 1900 through to 1934.
