You only have to look at this chisel it just rings out with quality. 1. 3/4” width and 14 3/4” in length, the steel at tang end measures 3/8” thick, chisel is bevel edged all down and towards cutting end is double bevelled, great sharp edge with a tiny Nick to one corner that will hone out. The tang is not fully set home into the boxwood handle but is solid and probably in as far as to not split handle, some paint residue on handle. Super Ward & Payne stamps on both sides of steel. Just quality.
