The brass depth stop moves easily, the sole has a boxwood slip dovetailed into the main beechwood body, the fence has three adjusting screws housed into brass fittings and operate smoothly, the makers name is crisply stamped on the front nose, who worked out of Birmingham from 1894-1901.
