What a super little brass back dovetail saw this is, open handle with early split nuts, the 8” long steel plate is holding 15 TPI. The brass spline has the maker or tool merchants name and address clearly stamped, this maker is illustrated in the book “British Saws and saw makers from 1660” by Simon Barley, who worked on this bible of saw books for over 10 years and only a couple of theses saws have turned up estimated to be C1880-1900.
