A very nice looking plane that is all original. The rosewood infills have no breaks or repairs only light scratches through its little used life. Infill behind iron and the cap iron are both stamped #1. The iron is original Stewart Spiers and near full length, sets nice and tight in the mouth, open handles plane with parallel sides, the dovetails are near invisible. A super little plane model number #7 in the SPIERS catalogues.
