Although I don’t know the maker of this plane it holds some nice features, the iron is by FENTON & MARSDEN and just under 10” long by 2 1/8” wide holding a razor sharp edge, the sole of the plane measures 10 3/8” long by 2 1/2” wide, the iron fits the mouth perfect, the mouth has a hairline fracture barely noticeable probably due to over tightening of the wedge but solid. The wedge is very nice made from rosewood showing only light hammer marks. The brass bridge is unusual folded down and riveted through the casting of the plane and has a Cupid bow to top edge and bottom a round that the wedge images. A great plane that is sharp and working as a Mitre Plane should.
