“THE FANCY FAIR” Bournemouth Bread Knife (36976)

A vintage bread knife dating C1880. It is stamped J.E.BEALE THE FANCY FAIR BOURNEMOUTH. This was Beals flagship store, in its prime, the full length of knife measures 13” long the handle is nicely carved, the steel is clean, it has two edges one to cut bread and the other is mildly curved on top edge for butter spreading.
