A delightful looking un named panel plane with amazing characteristics, the sole measures 15 3/4” long with a width of 2 7/8” the iron and cap iron both by Mathieson although the cap iron is slightly narrower than the iron that is 2 3/8” width. There’s lots of old knocks to the front bun and wedge, the wedge has a finger pull hole fitted. The front and rear casting has some beautiful shapes. The brass bridge has a Cupid bow to the lower edge and a nice o old shape to top edge, with a Cupid bow to the wedge bottom. Not sure of origin but looks most likely to be of Scottish origin. A beautifully plane.
