A great vintage rescue axe, stamped GILPIN. B.R. so probably for the railway industry? The nylon handle is remarkably untouched and still has the welded seems and residue on the steel shank. On the handle is “tested to 20,000 vaults.” On opposite side is No.125 a great axe for user or collector.
