What a superb little plane this is, made from beech wood with a brass nose that has two nice scallop chamfers. W. KERR the ex owner and possibly the maker of this gem is stamped to wedge and body of the plane, it is also stamped but not clear to the brass nose. The iron is 1 1/2” wide and has some pitting to it and stamped “steel” the sole is 4 1/2” long by 1 7/8” wide, the wedge is made lovely and complements the plane holding a nice Cupid bow to the bottom edge. A great display piece.
