An absolutely gorgeous cast iron cobblers nail caddy or carousel, the base design so different from others we have seen and measures just under 10” in diameter, the top cup tray measures 8 1/2” in diameter the hole things stands at 4” tall. The base was fixed to a bench when we purchased this and top was hidden in the workshop, we couldn’t find the centre pin so have had one made and the tray revolves nicely, some sizes painted on the cups (size of nails) and all we have done is cleaned the years of grime and waxed the casting retaining its originality, no other like this design we know of and can’t see any makers marks. A rare find and would truly grace any workshop or collection.
