A hard to come by mount cutter with handle, it is shown in the PRESTON 1909 catalogue as model number #160 with the rosewood handle and brass ferrule at each end, one of the rosewood scales as suffered a little damage as shown, I think a nice little repair would be best as replacing the full scale would loose the trademark stamped into this scale, the other scale also stamped with the maker as is the knife blade. A nice rare tool.
