An early straight saw holding 5.1/2 TPI. The plate is straight and clean dulled steel with the etching visible. Etching reads “THOMAS TURNER & Co” ENCORE, SUFFOLK WORKS SHEFFIELD with an additional stamp of “THE HOUSEHOLD SAW” nice handle with early split nuts, nice medallion that was first used in 1860s, although the etching of household saw I think dates to c1900? Teeth are set crosscut and are sharp.
