A whopping 28” clean steel plate holding 3 TPI. the bad point is it has a tooth missing about 1/4 of the length of the saw in from the handle, owner must of cringed when that happened, so a brazed tooth required, otherwise a fantastic clean straight saw, tiny nick on bottom of the bottom spur of handle, lovely etching of the maker R.GROVES also stamped manufactured for Robert Kelly Renshaw Street Liverpool. And a nice touch on each side of the saw of ex owners name and dated “1878” a gem of a saw.
