A most unusual plane that has no identification marks but made in the style of European planes made in Austria, Netherlands or Germany, I’ve never seen one with a cast body before, also has the unusual feature of a combined handle and wedge, the IBBOTSON iron is honed sharp and sits tight to the mouth. It sits on a shim that has been fitted underneath the wedge. It is a heavy plane weighing 2kgs. The body is just like that of a mitre plane it’s a wonderful tool that will grace all tool collections.
