A super condition plane that has a fraction over a 2 1/2” wide iron, the plane body measures a wide 3 3/8” across by 9 1/2” in length, the iron is clean, wedge is perfect, plane looks little used. Stamped on plane rear is a size of 8/8 and on front is the makers stamp “J. BUCK 124 NEWGATE St. LONDON” this address dates the plane between 1842-63. It really is a solid hefty plane.
