A nice screw stem plough plane made by James Clarke who worked out of Rainford Gardens in Liverpool 1816-29.there are 8 various makers cutters stamped 1-8 plus another #2 cutter in the plane, the screw threads are nice and have elongated honey comb screw nuts.depth stop adjusts smoothly, a hardwood slip has been added to the fence, would think a harder wood for wear. All round a nice condition plane.
