The makers stamp dates this plane to be made 1816-1827 by James Clarke working out of Rainford Gardens LIverpool, near full length cutting iron that cuts a torus and scotia profile, spring lines are visible, stamped number 5 on the heel, looks like a varnish or stain has dropped onto the plane down the wedge and down one side otherwise only light scratches, a nice 200 year old plane.
Price is inclusive of postage to mainland U.K.
