These leather sole cutting irons would grace a shoe makers museum, made by KEATS & BEXON who traded out of Stafford from early 1900s making shoe making equipment. They would cut left and right handed by simply turning the leather being punched over, made from steel with a sharp edge. Being in two parts it’s a miracle they have stayed together.
