A plane now becoming very scarce to find, open handled with the rounded sides. The rosewood is in very good condition with no breaks or cracks. The steel has a very nice aged look with fine pitting marks and clear dovetailed to the steel. Bronze lever cap and early maker stamp. The parallel iron is stamped I&H SORBY. Good for use or collection.
