An early knuckle cap block plane, it has patent date of Dec.28.86 on the knuckle cap, (B) is cast on underside of the knuckle cap and also on the casting of the plane, there are three patent dates on the lateral lever and patent date of 8.3.97 on rear of the casting something I’ve never seen before. The iron is a much later RECORD replacement, a good working plane.
