A becoming more scarce plane, firstly the rosewood handle has a glued repair low down but is solid. Some loss of the black paintwork more so to the rear of the plane, stamped on rear casting to one side is “STANLEY” on opposite side is “No72” behind the front knob on the casting is the letter “B” the iron is stamped STANLEY New Britain, CONN, U.S.A. All parts are clean and moving as they should.
