There are 16 types of this plane and a lot are advertised incorrectly on internet sites, this is a type #4 manufactured 1885-86, I have attached a copy of the study of these planes by Jeff.Warner, this plane has the solid adjustment wheel on types 1-4. And the number #113 in the casting only on type 4 before the wheel would have had the four holes in the sidewall. Plane is in very good condition and in working order, great for the collector or used alike. The types changed so frequently in the early years that to find any with the solid adjustment wheel is rare.
