A great looking vintage slaters hammer hatchet. Looks to have a leather bound handle with brass end and ferrule.the steel is stamped with what looks to read HANDDESCMIEDE? The edges on the shaft are bevelled for cutting down slates, also an unusual feature of having a round head, they are usually rectangular.
