This cramp is shown in the Preston catalogue as model number 0138 and size number 2, although I cannot see the Preston trade mark as it would normally be stamped on the steel thumb screw that has tiny pitting marks so has probably obscured the mark, you can see “ PATENT” on the casting top, the threads move easily and no breaks to any of the casting which is a rarity for these tools as they got thrown around in there day.
