Shoe size measuring rule boxwood/brass, Ullathorne & Co., England, dates 1890-1910.
A shoe size measuring rule made from boxwood, which folds at an elbow joint with two brass hinges. The rule features two scales of shoe sizes divided at the elbow joint; 1-13 and 1-14. Reverse side of the rule has a 12 inch scale, a folding up heel rest at one end, with a brass hinge and a sliding toe marker. The boxwood has some staining marks in places when fully folded measures 9” in length.
