A fantastic unusual little measuring rule, overall in length measures 5” long by 13/16” in width, no nicks on either of the edges. The rule was found in a watchmakers box, I would think the brass fitting acts as a fence to sit possibly a watch dial against whilst taking a measurement? Great little rule with finger holding shaped handle.
