Early Skillet by BAYLEY & STREET, with Pestle. (39204)

An early bronze skillet that dates to 18th century, the makers mark runs along the 8” long handle. It has three legs and stands 6.1/4” tall. There are some marks at start of handle near rim of the pan that could be the initials of whom casted the skillet. The diameter of the pan measures 6.1/2” across. There is a brass and ebony? Pestle, this has no markings so could be a later addition, it’s heavy and very nicely made, a lovely made piece of kitchenalia that can be useful today.
