Rare WHITEHOUSE 2LB Railway Spiked Hammer dated. (24254)

A rare railwaymans spiked hammer made by WHITEHOUSE and dated 1964. stamped with the Weight 2LB. also has a stamp on opposite face of hammer of B.R 78 possibly British Rail and a date? The shaft is solid with no movement to the steel head although looks to be a replacement? Measuring a little under 16” length. The hammer face measures 1 1/2” diameter the spike measures 5” long and full measurement from hammer face to spike tip measuring 8 1/2”.
