STANLEY BAILEY #8 Try Plane. (40922)

This is a type 11 plane dating between 1910-1918. It has the small brass adjusting wheel that has some wear although moves freely. There are three dates behind the frog. The paintwork and the rosewood knob and tote are very nice condition whilst the steelwork has some pitting to one side wall at the rear with the pitting slightly on the sole, it must have been lying on a damp area. The iron stamped STANLEY RULE & LEVEL. This really is a good looking plane apart from the pitting. Sharp iron that sits nice to front end of mouth.
