Boxed MATHIESON Grooving Plane No:770c. (41661)

A very good wooden drawer bottom grooving plane by MATHIESON of Glasgow. The plane is possibly unused? And in its original box that also is in good condition with company decal label to front.

Marked ‘A MATHIESON & SON GLASGOW’ with the Star and Crescent trade mark to the toe and stamped ‘770 C’ on the heel.

comes with the three original cutting irons 1/4”.  3/16”.  And the 1/8” inch. A super plane and hard to find complete in such good condition.
