Boxed MATHIESON #770C Drawer Bottom Plane. (38360)

A very good wooden drawer bottom grooving plane by MATHIESON of Glasgow. That has its original cardboard box that is well worn but does have the original decal label on front.

Marked ‘A MATHIESON & SON GLASGOW’ with the Star and Crescent trade mark to the toe and faintly stamped ‘770 C’ on the heel.

comes with the three original cutting irons 1/4”.  3/16”.  And the 1/8” inch. A super plane and hard to find complete in such good condition.
