Hefty 14” Long Cast Infill Plane. (28958)

A lovely looking very heavy infill bench plane, the casting has a lovely colouring, the infills are rosewood, iron is by Onions. The iron once set is sharp and forms a very nice tight mouth. The casting at front and rear of the plane forms a curved point set flush into the wooden infills. Not sure who the maker would have been but would think by a toolmaker looking at the quality. Measures 14” in length by 2 15/16” wide and holds a 2 1/2” iron.
