SPIERS AYR 1/2” Shoulder Plane. (41544)

This is the smallest of the shoulder planes the company made being only 6” in length and 1/2” in width. There’s some pitting on one side of the plane, the iron sets tight to mouth and is sharply honed. I can see the #3 on the wedge and main infill under where the iron sits, I cannot see a number on the iron although again some pitting marks are present, it does look to be original to the plane. A nice collectable plane.
