Boxwood Screwstem Plough Plane. (39627)

A plane that needs some work but would be such a shame to disregard it. Made from boxwood, the threads are relatively good with chips at the very start of the stems, an old wear to underside of where the iron comes through the throat, biggest issue is the fence does not tighten on to the stems, see photos the stems have old glue repairs that have now failed in need of a couple of dowels to be fitted so the screws tighten up, not a massive issue they do tighten enough for display purposes but not for use. There are no makers names just the iron a number #3 by John Moseley and son. As I say such a shame to throw it away.
