Circa 1880 Cased Set ELLIOT Bros Drawing Instruments (38617)

A magnificent set of drawing instruments, that the plate on top of the rosewood case states awarded to George Moyle 1880. The case has two tiers lined with a purple velvet, the bottom tier holds an ivory parallel rule but nothing else so could be a few things missing from the set, the top tier holds some of the Mose beautifully made drawing instruments I’ve seen, including four ivory handled pens, and ivory button push. The box measures 8” x 7” x 2” and is solid but missing key for the lock, the top tray edging has come loose from the tray, it’s all there needs someone who can re glue to the fine edging work. It’s a stunning set.
