STANLEY U.S.A. #8 Try Plane. (42380)

So firstly the bad points, the lever cap has had a weld repair although is working fine, the front knob I think may be a replacement, the iron is an English STANLEY. Otherwise a good user try plane with good paintwork, the steel is clean, the iron sets well and is sharp. I have stripped the plane to check all parts.
